Teaching Kids about REPTILES in 2006 - and YOU can help!
This summer we'll be visiting libraries in many communities with our reptiles.
With your help, we will be able to donate lasting reptile resources to each library we visit!

Reptile Book Drive to benefit "Paws, Claws, Scales and Tales" Summer Reading Program
Opinions toward reptiles are formed at a very young age. We believe education is the best cure for many of the fears and common misconceptions about reptiles, and this summer we're going all out! Forgotten Friend has organized a Reptile Book Drive to benefit the 2006 Summer Reading Program, "Paws, Claws, Scales and Tales" at Pennsylvania's public libraries. We will be providing live reptile programs for many libraries this Summer, and we hope to leave lasting reptile resources at each library we visit. If you have a few reptile books gathering dust on the shelf, please consider donating them to the Summer Reading Program. We are also accepting gift cards to book stores, as well as finanical donations, in order to purchase new reptile books.

Thanks to the Lancaster County Reptile Show for donating educational Reptile Coloring Books to each library we visit this summer. This will be an excellent and fun learning tool for the kids!

We are still collecting more reptile books to give out to the kids this summer . . .
