Come out and meet one of the real live zookeepers from ZooAmerica in Hershey! Jan Cooper is responsible for taking care of more of the zoo's creatures than any of the other keepers on staff. Her decades of experience have turned her into a walking-Zoology-Encylcopedia, and she loves to share! This will be a night to remember as Jan shares a few of her critters with us, and lots of insight. Rumor has it you may have a chance to see the only venomous lizard in the United States - the Gila Monster - up close!

Immediately following the meeting will be our first ever late-night field trip. Bring your waders because the water may get high where we'll be going. More details to come, but we will probably be heading out in search of Spring Peepers, and the other treasures of April.

Member's Night - this means YOU! This is your opportunity to share any of your own reptiles with the group, along with any stories or research you may have to go with it. If you have been doing any other reptile projects or research, this is a great time to share it with the rest of the group.
Not sure which reptile to bring? Not a problem, just follow this easy 4-step-program:
1. Go step into your reptile room.
2. Close your eyes.
3. Spin around ten times and point your finger straight out in front of you.
4. When you open your eyes, whichever reptile you're pointing at is the one you should bring to Member's night.
Friday, September 15th, 2006,
Our featured speaker will be Club President Adam Darrenkamp. Featured topics will include a herping season summary, and a look at one of PA's less commonly seen snakes, the Queen Snake.

If passed, these new regs will impose major limitations on Rattlesnake Roundups and offer greater protection for all state herps.
