Reptile Education Mission:

Helping children and adults learn more about reptiles is the key to the conservation and preservation of these amazing creatures. And of course we'll have some fun while we're at it!

Where will we go?

We visit churches, schools, libraries, birthday parties, retirement homes, community events, banquets,
or anywhere we can serve. We've even been known to pop up with our reptiles on your TV or radio.

What's it like?

Our programs are crawling with family fun! Our standard one hour shows feature a 30-45 minute presentation by wildlife author and photographer Jesse Rothacker. The rest of the hour is yours for questions, interaction, and an even closer reptile encounter. We feature more than a dozen live snakes, lizards, turtles, and crocs from all around the world. From the Deserts to the Rainforests, you'll get a chance to meet reptiles from Australia, Africa, Asia, Central and South America
-- and a few that can be found in your own backyard! For schools, we're glad to reccomend educational materials for the students, or even bring some along. We can stop by for an hour or two, or hang around all day.

What ages do we work with?

Our special brand of educational entertainment is great for groups of all ages. We've done programs for kindergarten classes, retirement homes, and all ages in between.

What reptiles do we bring?

Each program is guaranteed to feature at least a dozen live reptiles, although we have been known to bring out even more. It's important for us to give reptiles "the day off" occasionally, depending on their natural lifecycles and health needs, so our roster changes slightly from one day to the next. Nevertheless, you can plan to see 12 or more of the following reptiles at your event: American Alligator, Corn Snake, Grey-Banded King Snake, California King Snake, Hognose Snake, Sinoloan Milk Snake, Pueblan Milk Snake, Ball Python, Albino Burmese Python, Red Tail Boa Constrictor, Leopard Geckos, Bearded Dragon, Savanna Monitor, Green Iguana, Mali Uromastyx, Sulcata Tortoise, Red Foot Tortoise, and more . . .

HANDS-ON Experience

It takes a HANDS-ON encounter to really experience the magic and mystery of these amazing creatures. Many of our reptiles are very social, and some are okay for kids to pet, or even hold. We provide hand sanitizer for everyone to promote good clean fun.

Take Home A Picture of Your Reptile Encounter

Turn your first reptile encounter into an experience you won't soon forget by having your picture taken with one of our friendliest reptiles. Our high-quality Olympus photo printer takes seconds to print real Olypmus photos that will stay with you for a lifetime. There is no additional charge to have reptile pictures available at your event. It's simply a pay-as-you-go option at $5 for each framed photo. Or ask about our group rates for pictures.

Rates and Scheduling

The proceeds from our Traveling Reptile Shows help make our rescue efforts possible, and we still have rates below many comparable programs. We offer standard one-hour rates, as well as discounted rates for longer events. Local travel is included free with each program, with fair mileage rates beyond 20 miles. We strive to keep our shows affordable so we can continue to enlighten the public about these amazing creatures known as REPTILES. When I'm not working on educational programs, you'll probably find me with a snake hook in my hand and a camera around my neck, traking down reptiles in the great outdoors.
